Shadows
10Apr12
Just a few quick remaining ones from Valparaiso.
Do you sometimes wish you knew what you were doing as you’re doing it? I certainly do. Take these photos, for example. I only realized after the fact, when viewing them on my computer, that I really like the harsh contrast between light and shadow. I think I only half saw the potential at the time and so didn’t look for more opportunities. But that’s what makes photography so fun. Always something new to learn, and always a next time — same place, or another place.

And WP just told me that this is my 250th post. Sounds cool I guess! Till next time.

Bien hecho¡ Y fotografías muy originales y artísticas…
I love the bluesy moodiness of the 3rd photo. The grey sky matches the shadow below, yet somehow an almost angelic light gleams above (from where?) revealing the criss-crossing marriage of the solid with the moveable. Your view is always delightful. Many thanks.
I agree, the bluesy mood is wonderful. What really knocks me out however is the number of posts. That is really remarkable!
Congratulations for being 250th post… I wish you more 250 posts too dear Lauren.
I agree with you about photography… It is always great fun and every time you add something to your experiences… It is something living by learning; learning by living…
I loved the contrast and especially how mo akes them simpressive these shadows. Your photographical eye caught and captured so beautifully.
Thank you, have a nice day, with my love, nia
