Happy Year of the Water Snake !
10Feb13
Chinese New Year is today. Happy New Year to all ! I don’t know what the significance of the year of the snake is, but it’s a good reason to celebrate and to post a few more photos from my Hong Kong trip last May. Here’s a fun bit of Chinese astrology if you’re interested.

P.S. This is a scheduled post. I’ll be back soon.

Absolutely stunning pictures.
Happy new year!
Thank you. PS–your blog makes me hungry every time I look at it.
Gorgeous photos
Are those first few photos from Man Mo temple in Hollywood Rd? I always visit there when I am in Hong Kong. I am a water snake…I hope there are good omens for us this year.
Yes they are! Though I remember at least one other temple, whose name I can’t recall that had similar lanterns. It’s the year of the water snake, so it’s gotta be good for those born that year I’m sure.
awesome pictures! are you from HK?
Thanks! No I’m not (first time visit there).
sweet! Did you stay for long?
