Thanks so much for stopping by.   What can I say about me?   If there’s such a thing as left brain and right brain, then I’ve been involved in mostly left-brain pursuits most of my life.  Then I discovered a new found love of photography through my love of travel.  For me, photography opens our eyes to new things, yet also makes the world around us a less “strange” or foreign place.  And I realized along the way that perhaps I should exercise my right brain a bit more.

I’m self-taught — thank you to the Internet, countless books, magazines, and countless fellow bloggers and photographers.  My style is gelling but still evolving, though I favor minimal processing (probably a combination of visual preference and laziness/dislike of sitting in front of the computer).  This blog documents some of my photography, travel, and anything else visual that catches my attention.  Please feel free to leave a comment in any post.  Lauren
